« More News Businesses Learn Ways to Save Money02/14/07 An open house for area businesses was held on January 24 at Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. Businesses had an opportunity to learn about occupational health services available at their local hospital. “Whether a business is small or large, we can help them save money,” said Bonnie Boksa, Occupational Health Services Coordinator at Moundview Memorial. “One of the largest expenses for any business is health care. Insurance premiums, worker’s compensation costs, lost work days, decreased productivity….it all impacts the businesses’ bottom line. We can help employers reduce expenses with a tailored occupational health program.” Occupational health services at Moundview Memorial are available on a contractual or fee for service basis. Services include pre-employment physicals and screenings; job specific services such as ergonomic consulting and on-site injury prevention education; post injury rehabilitation and return to work plans; and health and wellness services such as health fairs, risk appraisals, and screenings to help improve employee health.
